Medical and diagnostic centre Laboratories depend upon the patient samples referred from both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-client (B2C ) sources to generate revenues.

The marketing professionals in medical and diagnostic centre laboratories have to target a large number of healthcare establishments (primary source of patient samples). The sources which need to be targeted for marketing are the B2B segment, including Physicians/Doctors clinics (GPs, specialists), Hospitals, Referring laboratories, Laboratory Collection centres, Nursing Homes and Allied Health Professionals, Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies for Clinical Research and Trials, Insurance companies and Public Health and Government Clients.

To effectively market a medical and diagnostic centre to this diverse range of healthcare establishments, a marketing management system with a plan and monitoring toolsis required. The Labmate-Outreach is a mobile app to target these sources and to record and monitor the efforts made by the marketing professionals.

  • Campaign Management: Planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media ads, local health camps) for different sources.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring key metrics like test-wise revenues, patient demographics, and doctor-wise referrals to inform future decisions.
  • Patient Engagement and CRM: Utilising patient data for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and gathering feedback to improve retention and word-of-mouth referrals.

This privacy policy is directed at the users of the Labmate Outreach App.

Introduction

Busysoft Systems Private Limited, with its registered office in Delhi (India), hereinafter referred to as “Busysoft”, develops and manages websites, online software and mobile apps, including the Labmate- Outreach web application and Android App. This application will be used by healthcare providers, hereinafter referred to as “Client (s)”. The application (app) is intended for marketing executives, and/or legal representatives of the healthcare providers, hereinafter referred to as “User” when referring to the “users of the app”.

Terms and conditions privacy statement

By using the Labmate-Outreach App, you accept all terms and conditions as set out in this privacy statement. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions set out in this privacy statement, Busysoft will ask you to stop using the Labmate Outreach App immediately.

Purpose and target group privacy statement

The privacy statement provides Data Subjects/Users and healthcare providers who use the Labmate Outreach App with an understanding of how Busysoft processes and protects Personal Data on instructions from the Clients. Although Busysoft cannot be considered the Controller of the processing in the Labmate Outreach App, it is aware, for reasons of transparency, of the importance of providing information about the processing of Personal Data.

Labmate Outreach App and the purpose of processing

The purpose of processing in the Labmate Outreach App is to help the users, i.e. “Marketing Executives”,to visit the B2B client. The B2B client is a market segment which provides business to laboratories. The B2B clients provide patient samples or references to the medical testing laboratories for medical diagnostic testing. The Labmate-outreach is a marketing management web application as well as a marketing management app. The application consists of the following user and client data.

This data is not stored in the Labmate Outreach App. These contents are collected and submitted via APIs and are stored in the online Labmate Outreach Management application database.

Data stored and collected by the Labmate Outreach App

The Labmate Outreach App stores the following user data (Marketing executives) in temporary shared preferences and is washed after logout. This is used to authenticate the user in the Labmate outreach application. The Labmate outreach application provides the data using APIs after authentication only.

Retention period

The Labmate Outreach App stores user authentication data in temporary shared preferences and is wiped after logout. The geolocation data is stored in the Labmate Outreach Marketing Managementapplication and is retained for monitoring and controlling purposes by the clients. Busysoft has no control over the purpose and usage of this information.

Transfer to third parties

To ensure that the Labmate Outreach App works properly, third parties may be engaged, for example, to send SMSs for notification and authentication. The OTP includes

Duty to report data breaches

Any data breaches must be reported by the Data Controller(s), i.e. clients, to the designated authority. Where necessary and possible, Busysoft is obliged to cooperate with this.

Security measures

Busysoft takes appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect Personal Data against loss or any kind of unlawful processing. As an organisation, Busysoft is committed to information security and quality management. Busysoft has ISO 9001 (quality management) and is in the process of acquiring certification to both ISO 27001 (information security).

The security measures taken about the Labmate Outreach App include, amongst others:

  • Encrypted transport of data
  • Encrypted storage of user data
  • 2-factor authentication
  • Obligation of secrecy for staff of Busysoft
  • Logging actions in the system
  • Encrypted storage of data in the local storage of the smart device of the end user.

Busysoft cannot be held liable if unauthorised persons gain access to the Personal Data through actions outside the control of Busysoft.

Liability

Busysoft has taken the utmost care and attention to ensure that the information contained in this privacy statement is correct. However, errors and omissions may occur. Busysoft accepts no liability whatsoever for any losses sustained due to errors or irregularities, nor for any damage caused by the use or dissemination of this privacy statement.

Changes to the privacy statement

Busysoft reserves the right to change the privacy statement from time to time if necessary due to changes in legislation or other developments. These changes are communicated by push notification to Users of the Labmate Outreach app. You can also find an update of the latest version of the privacy statement in the app. Busysoft is not responsible if the push notifications function on the User’s device has not been activated.
